Spider-man movie update
Tv updates
First; Mad Men and Game of Thrones. They're both almost halfway through, that means the next episodes are probably going to be more exciting than the last ones. I'm not going to speculate much on GoT, but I will on MM.
Don Draper has surprised us all by staying in love (and in bed) with his wife, while Pete Cambell is crumbling in his self pity-loathing attitude (I hate that guy); my guess is that Don will eventually fall from the saddle. I would also like [a lot] to know more about Joan's particular situation, I have a feelig that Don is going to screw up and Joan will be the one to bring backbone to the situation.
Now in GoT, Tyrion seems to be the only Lannister who knows what they're doing. On another corner of the world we got Theon, who might be more stupid than we thought; he seems to be betraying Rob Stark, who has been like a brother to him, in favor of a father who never cared for him. We also have a possible aliance between the Sarks and Renly Barateon. One thing is certain, we've had two episodes filled with set up for action, so we should get very exciting and action filled episodes soon.
Tomorrow [Thursday, April 19] is the return of Parks and Recreation on NBC.. Also tomorrow on NBC, 30Rock's second live episode. It's going to be a great day for NBC comedies.
Don't forget to tune in to our show!

Avengers, assemble!
Marvel streamed the red carpet of the premiere live on their YouTube channel. The upside of having them making the questions (and not Ryan Seacrest) is that the interviews with the actors included from their experiences on set, to their opinions on comics and their storylines.
On certain occasions the reactions of the press may affect the film, that is, they may decide to re-edit something. I don't know if that's the case, but apparently after a press conference Robert Downey Jr. let slip that they were shooting something for the movie that very night. Later Mark Ruffalo confirmed this by saying "We’re shooting a scene tonight. I’m not sure exactly where it’s gonna go. All I know is that someone came in with the costume and said, ‘Here’s some wardrobe. We don’t know where you’re going to be or what you’re doing.’ ” Ruffalo said. We asked if it will be in the “The Avengers” when it hits theaters Ruffalo added, “Yeah. So I’m like, ‘All right, when are we doing that?’ Today after we’re done.”
My guess is that they found something that needed re-shooting.
Marvel also released a bunch of new footage and pictures to get the hype up.

Catching X-Men
Ross declared:
"Despite recent speculation in the media, and after difficult but sincere consideration, I have decided not to direct Catching Fire. As a writer and a director, I simply don’t have the time I need to write and prep the movie I would have wanted to make because of the fixed and tight production schedule."
Fox has dibs on J. Lawrence's schedule because their contract precedes the HG contract. And rumor has it Fox wasn't too thrilled when shooting of the Hunger Games prevented the actress from appearing on the premiere tour of First Class.
Quote from fan site Hypable concerning this:
"According to knowledgeable sources, Lionsgate Motion Picture Group co-chair Rob Friedman pressed Fox to set a later start date for the X-Men movie, even offering allurements such as a chance to handle some of the overseas distribution on Catching Fire.
Fox was willing to move its start date back a few weeks and is still in conversations with Lionsgate on that issue. But the additional time would not have been enough to allay Ross’s concerns. And Fox may have been inclined to cooperate only up to a point. When the first X-Men film was released in June 2011, the studio very much wanted Lawrence to attend the premiere. The star was starting The Hunger Games then and Lionsgate did not make her available, apparently causing severe friction with Fox. Friedman, who was not at Lionsgate then and has a good relationship with Fox’s Tom Rothman, has been negotiating to win a little more time. Lionsgate is now said to be confident that it can complete shooting in the time allotted."
